§ 18-23. Dangerous dogs.

The purposes of this section are to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Rayne. It is intended to be applicable to "dangerous" dogs, as defined herein, and to regulate dogs that are commonly referred to as "pit bulls," as defined herein, by ensuring responsible handling by their owners through registration, confinement, and liability insurance.
