§ 18-6. Reclaiming fees; prosecution not precluded.

An owner reclaiming an impounded animal shall pay a fee of $25.00 as an impounding fee, plus $15.00 for each day that the animal has been impounded. The owner shall also be responsible for any veterinary fees or expenses incurred while the animal is impounded. The owner may also be proceeded against for violation of this chapter.
